Letter Formation

Gina

A simple but impactful activity that shows how all letters can be formed with straight lines and curved lines!

Materials:

How To:

  1. Cut the pipe cleaners so that you have long strips and short strips. You want the short strips to be about half the size of the long ones.

  2. Bend the short strips so they form a "C."

  3. Explain to your kiddo that all letters can be formed out of straight lines & curved lines!

  4. Model this first for younger learners! Go through & choose an alphabet card. Use the pipe cleaners to build that letter.

You can talk about the letter name, its sound(s) & words that begin with it. It is amazing for fine motor skills & sensory input!
